ABC’s “Lost” was one of the best TV shows ever. I never missed an episode. Like so many fans of the show I sat at the edge of my seat every week for the past six seasons watching as the writers continued to surprise us with unexpected plot twists and random character deaths. The summers were the worse; I waited patiently until a new episode graced my screen to only be rewarded with yet another mystery. Damn you “Lost!” It was truly a love hate relationship from the beginning but I continued to watch because it was the best show on television. With that said, I had absolutely no plans to write anything about the series or the finale. Then I began reading those nasty fan reaction comments online. As it turns out, many fans of the show misunderstand the ending and feel that the writers left too many questions unanswered. The writers did leave some things to our imagination. Would you expect anything else from “Lost?” I’ll try my best to clear things up. Read more

George Lopez’s TBS late-night talk show ‘Lopez Tonight’, strong across key demos, will have to move time slots to make room for cancelled talk show host Conan O’Brien. Sound familiar?
In a surprise announcement, TBS revealed this morning that the former “Tonight Show” host would join the cabler in the 11 p.m. time slot this November.
“Lopez Tonight,” which currently airs there, will shift to midnight. Like “Lopez,” the as-yet untitled O’Brien show will air four days a week, Mondays through Thursdays.
“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable,” O’Brien said. “My plan is working perfectly.”
News was timed to the kick off of O’Brien’s “Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television” tour, which starts Monday night in Eugene, Ore.
O’Brien had been widely expected to seal a deal with Fox — and execs at the broadcast network remained optimistic last week that a deal could eventually be hammered out. Variety

Conan O’Brien is having a real life Jerry Maguire moment. “Who’s coming with me?” He’s tired of being NBC’s obedient lap-dog and is prepared to put his dream job on the line to set things right.
Big mistake – Jay Leno may have poor ratings but Conan’s “The Tonight Show” is short on big-name star guests and generally not entertaining.
O’Brien released the following statement today saying that he will not do “The Tonight Show” if it airs at 12:05am after NBC’s suggested half-hour Jay Leno show starting at 11:35pm. Read more

Video: FOX News says Rush Limbaugh is not a racist he’s just a “racial provocateur.” Whatever that means. I guess the men that killed Medgar Evers and Martin Luther King, Jr. were just “gun enthusiast.” ‘Geraldo at Large’ aired a video montage of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s most controversial statements about African Americans after his failed attempt to secure partial ownership of the St. Louis Rams.
