‘Dancing with the Stars’ 2010 lineup one to watch

A mom of eight, an outspoken NFL wide receiver and a former “Beverly Hills” bad girl are among the stars joining the ballroom for the new season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Kate Gosselin, Cincinnati Bengals’ #85 WR Chad Ochocinco and Shannen Doherty were among the stars announced as a part of the “DWTS” cast, which was revealed during Monday’s “The Bachelor” finale. Conan O’Brien is having a real life Jerry Maguire moment. “Who’s coming with me?” He’s tired of being NBC’s obedient lap-dog and is prepared to put his dream job on the line to set things right.

Big mistake – Jay Leno may have poor ratings but Conan’s “The Tonight Show” is short on big-name star guests and generally not entertaining.

O’Brien released the following statement today saying that he will not do “The Tonight Show” if it airs at 12:05am after NBC’s suggested half-hour Jay Leno show starting at 11:35pm. See More

Oprah Winfrey will announce on Friday that her popular daytime talk show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” will end its run in 2011, Tim Bennett, the President of Harpo, announced in a letter released to ABC affiliates on Thursday.

“Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history,” he wrote in the letter. “The sun will set on the ‘Oprah’ show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.” See More
