Synopsis

August 6, 2012 – Joe Carnahan Eyes Daredevil. Fox is in early talks with Joe Carnahan (The Grey) to direct a new take on Daredevil. The studio is also reportedly in negotiations with Walt Disney Pictures to co-finance the project. (Deadline)

March 21, 2011 – David Slade Talks ‘Daredevil’. The director gives an update on the planned reboot. David Slade has announced that his ‘Daredevil’ movie will not be a sequel to the 2003 film, but an all new adaptation of the Marvel comic book character. “It will bare no relation to the previous Daredevil,” Slade confirmed. About the casting, “We are at early planning stages and have not yet discussed any cast.” (Twitter)
