First Movie Poster and Photo for The Smurfs 2
Sony Pictures Animation has unveiled a new teaser poster and the first movie photo for the live action/animated sequel The Smurfs 2.
Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria and Jayma Mays return in the family comedy, featuring the voices of Katy Perry, Jonathan Winters, Christina Ricci and J.B. Smoove.
In the follow-up, the Smurfs travel to Europe, with their human friends played by Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays, to rescue Smurfette voiced by pop star Katy Perry from Gargamel (Hank Azaria). The evil wizard has created two mischievous Smurf-like "Naughties" Vexy (Christina Ricci) and Hackus (J.B. Smoove) that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurf-essence.
The Smurfs 2 is scheduled to arrive in Digital 3D, RealD 3D and 2D theaters on July 31, 2013. You can click the images below for a larger version.
