Transformers 4 Adds Li Bingbing. Chinese actress Li Bingbing has joined the cast of Michael Bay’s upcoming fourth installment of the Transformers film franchise. Bingbing (Resident Evil: Retribution) will star along with Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer. Transformers 4 takes place exactly four years after Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The story centers on Wahlberg’s character, his daughter (Peltz) and her race car driver boyfriend (Reynor). Earth is once again caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between two races of robots, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. See More

Star Wars Rebels

New Animated Series Star Wars Rebels Coming Fall 2014. Lucasfilm Animation announced production has begun on Star Wars Rebels, an all-new animated television series based on the epic film franchise and influenced by the classic Star Wars art by Ralph McQuarrie. The new series will premiere with a one-hour Disney Channel special in fall 2014, followed by a series on Disney XD. Set between the events of Episode III and IV, the story takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape. X-Men: Days of Future Past

First Set Photo of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart star in the sequel to 2011′s X-Men: First Class. The time bending action-adventure will bring together original X-Men Trilogy stars with the “First Class.” The film is based on the “Uncanny X-Men” comic book issues #141 and #142, published in 1981. The “Days of Future Past” storyline introduced the idea of an alternate future involving the X-Men that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator that lead to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels. Commercials director Gary Shore is set to make his feature film directorial debut. 21 Jump Street 2 Set for Summer 2014. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will return for the sequel to the surprise hit 2012 action-comedy 21 Jump Street. Columbia Pictures has set the release date for June 13, 2014. Loosely based on the hit television series, 21 Jump Street 2 will pick up where the first one left off, with underachieving police officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) going undercover in a college to bring down a dangerous secret organization. Director Terry Gilliam to Cameo in The Wachowski’s Jupiter Ascending. Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum and Sean Bean star in the sci-fi adventure directed by the Wachowski’s (Cloud Atlas, The Matrix). Acclaimed filmmaker Terry Gilliam (Twelve Monkeys, The Fisher King) will make a cameo appearance in Jupiter Ascending. Over the years Gilliam has appeared in several of his own films including Monty Python’s Life of Brian and Brazil. Jupiter Ascending is a twist to the classic fairy tale Snow White. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch Confirmed for The Avengers 2. Director Joss Whedon has confirmed that comic book superhero siblings Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will join The Avengers 2 movie line-up. In an interview with IGN, Whedon confirmed the rumor, “You know, they had a rough beginning. They’re interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn’t necessarily agree with The Avengers. So they’re not there to make things easier. I’m not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier.” In Marvel’s The Avengers 2, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow assemble to defeat the intergalactic enemy Thanos. Marton Csokas Lands Villain Role in The Equalizer. Marton Csokas will square off against Denzel Washington in The Equalizer. Antoine Fuqua (Olympus Has Fallen, Training Day) is directing the big-screen adaptation of the 80s TV series. Csokas (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Debt) will play a Russian mafia hitman, Washington is playing Robert McCall, a retired intelligence officer and Chloe Grace Moretz is playing Teri, a teenage street walker. The original series starred British actor Edward Woodward as McCall, a former covert operations officer with a mysterious past, who tries to atone for past sins by righting the wrongs of a flawed legal system.
