New photos from the London set of Mission: Impossible V have arrived online.

In response to The Hollywood Reporter's story that production was halted to pen a new ending, director Christopher McQuarrie tweeted:

"Live, from the set of the #MI5 finale, the "unknown writer" sends his regards to @thr before cashing his paycheck." "Filming never wrapped. We took a short break to prep the finale properly."

Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris star in the fifth installment in Paramount's blockbuster 'Mission: Impossible' franchise.
