Ben Kingsley Joins Night at the Museum 3
Ben Kingsley will join Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Ricky Gervais and Rebel Wilson in Shawn Levy’s Night at the Museum 3. Kingsley will play a formidable Egyptian pharaoh on display in the British museum, and he is revived by a magical tablet. Production on the fantasy adventure sequel will take place in Vancouver and London beginning February 2014. Plot details are being kept under wraps. Night at the Museum (2006) followed Larry Daley (Stiller) as he discovered, at night, the exhibits at New York’s Museum of Natural History come to life. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009) then brought the action to Washington, DC.
Ben Stiller and director Shawn Levy return for more after-hours mayhem in this third outing of the successful “Night At The Museum” series. When Ahkmanrah is tricked into opening a portal to the Underworld, leading to the escape of the evil Kahmunrah from the portal, Ahkmanrah summons help from John Wilkes Booth, Blackbeard, and Benedict Arnold. Security Guard Larry Daley, Amelia Earhart, and the other Museum friends must stop the madness.
