‘Rocky’ Spinoff ‘Creed’ Hits This Thanksgiving

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a release date for the upcoming ‘Rocky’ spinoff Creed. The boxing film will hit theaters Thanksgiving weekend, November 25, 2015.

‘Creed’ will follow Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), the cocky grandson of Apollo Creed, with Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) acting as his trainer and mentor.

‘Creed’ will opening against Disney•Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur, Ridley Scott’s The Martian, Jeff Nichols’ ‘Midnight Special’ and Jonathan Levine’s untitled Christmas comedy that reunites ’50/50′ (2011) co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen.
