Official Man of Steel Banner Reveals New Superman Logo. A new banner for the Superman reboot has been unveiled. Check out the updated version of Superman’s iconic logo. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and Laurence Fishburne star in the superhero action-adventure directed by Zack Snyder. See the latest photos for Man of Steel below in the photo gallery. Born on the doomed planet Krypton, but raised on Earth, mild-mannered newspaper reporter Clark Kent (Cavill) must become the superhero known as “Superman” to defend the world against two other surviving Kryptonians, the tyrannical General Zod (Shannon) and his evil partner Faora (Antje Traue).

SynopsisThe Superman franchise is resurrected in Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures “Man of Steel” from director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight). The film stars Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner. Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Ayelet Zurer, and Superman’s father, Jor-El, portrayed by Russell Crowe. Rounding out the cast are Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, as well as Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy. “Man of Steel” is being produced by Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder. |
