The Dark Knight trilogy helmer Christopher Nolan is directing the space exploration thriller. The film will be co-produced and jointly distributed by two studios. Paramount Pictures will handle domestic distribution and Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film internationally. Matthew McConaughey Confirmed for Nolan’s Interstellar

Director Christopher Nolan has cast Matthew McConaughey as the male lead in his mysterious sci-fi thriller Interstellar, based on a script by Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises).

Criterion has announced that Dark Knight Trilogy director Christopher Nolan’s first full-length film, Following (1999), will receive a Criterion Collection Blu-ray and DVD Special Edition release on December 11, 2012. The crime drama stars Jeremy Theobald, Alex Haw, Lucy Russell and John Nolan.

Dark Knight Rises Director and WB Release Statements Following Shooting

Christopher Nolan, the director of The Dark Knight Rises, has released a statement about the movie theater shooting at a midnight screening of his film in Aurora, Colorado, calling the massacre an “appalling crime” and saying that his thoughts are with the victims and their families.

“Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community,” Nolan said in a statement. “I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting but that they were there last night to watch a movie. Hans Zimmer to Score Man of Steel

Director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan have tapped The Dark Knight Rises composer Hans Zimmer to score Warner Bros. Superman reboot Man of Steel, reports THR. Zimmer worked on all three films in Nolan’s Batman trilogy and this will be his fifth collaboration.
