Red State DVD and Blu-ray Details. Lionsgate has revealed full details for writer/director Kevin Smith’s ‘Red State’ on DVD and Blu-ray. The fundamentalist thriller, which stars Michael Angarano, John Goodman, Melissa Leo and Michael Parks, will be available On Demand beginning September 1st – six weeks before the debut of the Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital Download. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD release will contain extensive special features including a documentary, audio commentary with Kevin Smith, deleted scenes, an extended ending sequence and more.
