Benjamin Bratt to Replace Al Pacino in Despicable Me 2. Al Pacino has dropped out of Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ Despicable Me 2 due to creative difference. Benjamin Bratt will replace Pacino in the villain role El Macho reports Deadline. Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig and Miranda Cosgrove lead the voice cast of the 3D animated comedy sequel.
