Antje Traue’s Villainous Faora Action Figure Revealed! In anticipation of Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has revealed the first wave of Mattel’s Movie Masters action figures, featuring the characters Superman, his Kryptonian father Jor-El and the villains General Zod and Faora.

The much-anticipated Movie Masters line captures the accuracy and details of the film’s characters. Mattel will also introduce Man of Steel QuickShots, a new way to play with Superman with elements of flight and strength incorporated into the toy. See More

Comic-Con 2012: Man of Steel Trailer Description, New Poster

Comic-Con attendees got a special treat today at the Warner Bros. Pictures panel. Director Zack Snyder premiered the long-awaited first trailer and a new poster for Man of Steel, the highly anticipated Superman reboot. The Comic-Con trailer is 2 min. 10 sec., but a shorter 1 min. 27 sec. trailer will debut in theaters in front of Christopher Nolan’s final installment of his Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises.

Zack Snyder said principal photography has wrapped, and Man of Steel is now in post production. He also told the crowd that the movie’s plot is based on a mix of various comic book story lines more than any particular arc. Henry Cavill said he loved the “Death of Superman” and “Red Son” comic book stories.

Now with Video! Warner Bros. has unveiled the official costumes from director Zack Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated Superman reboot Man of Steel at Licensing Expo 2012 in Las Vegas.

The Warner Bros. Consumer Products display gives us our first close-up look at the elaborate costumes of Superman (Henry Cavill), Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and the Kryptonian villain Faora (Antje Traue). ComingSoon.net attended the Expo and got a chance to snap some pics. See More

Julian Richings Joins ‘Man of Steel’

British actor Julian Richings, best known for recurring character roles in ‘Supernatural’ and the short-lived Stephen King TV series ‘Kingdom Hospital’, has joined the cast of director Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill (Immortals) and Amy Adams.

In a recent TV interview on Space TV’s InnerSPACE, Richings revealed that he shot a couple of scenes in Vancouver that will take place on Krypton with Russell Crowe, who plays Superman’s father Jor-El, and Michael Shannon, as General Zod, in front of a large green screen, in a place the size of a hockey arena.
