Back in December, Movienewz.com broke the news that Warner Bros. plans to debut the first trailer for Man of Steel this June. MTV recently caught up with General Zod himself, actor Michael Shannon, at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards and asked him about the trailer and dialogue. “Zod has some speeches; he has some cool speeches,” he said. Marvel Studios has released the new movie poster for Marvel’s The Avengers, starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.
The super hero team-up features iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. DC Announces ‘Watchmen’ Prequel Comics

This summer, DC Entertainment will publish all-new stories expanding on the acclaimed Watchmen universe. The seven inter-connected prequel mini-series will build on the foundation of the original Watchmen, the bestselling graphic novel of all time. Before Watchmen will be the collective banner for all seven titles, from DC Comics.
Each week, a new issue will be released, and will feature a two-page back-up story called Curse Of The Crimson Corsair, written by original series editor Len Wein and with art by original series colorist John Higgins. There will also be a single issue, Before Watchmen: Epilogue, featuring the work of various writers and artists, and a Crimson Corsair story by Wein and Higgins. See More

The Crow Reboot Gets a Writer and Director. Relativity and The Weinstein Company’s Dimension Films have signed F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before The Fall) to direct a reinvention of The Crow, the 1994 smash hit film based on the comic book series and comic strip by James O’Barr. Writer Jesse Wigutow has signed on to pen the script. The Crow adaptation will be a gritty reboot of the iconic character Eric Draven, who returns from the grave as The Crow on a mission to avenge his wife’s murder, so that his soul can finally rest. First Look: Erica Durance as Wonder Woman

NBC will finally make good use of its revamped costume from writer David E. Kelley’s unaired Wonder Woman television pilot. Erica Durance, best known for playing Lois Lane in the CW’s Smallville, will debut the outfit on what is sure to be a fanboy favorite episode of Kelley’s Harry’s Law.
In the Wednesday, January 11 episode of the NBC show, Erica Durance will appear as Annie Billson, a psychologically disturbed woman who believes that she is actually the famed superheroine Wonder Woman.
