Disney Reveals Digital 3D Comic-Con Panel

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures’ to showcase key titles – ‘Toy Story 3′, ‘Tron’, ‘Disney’s a Christmas Carol’, ‘The Princess and the Frog’, and Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

Animation greats Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter and directors Robert Zemeckis and Tim Burton will take part in their first ever Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center July 23-24. The filmmakers will be on hand to help Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures showcase a wide-ranging roster of upcoming films. See More

Tron 2 Finds Star Player

The world of Tron is expanding. Garrett Hedlund will star in the sequel to the cult classic “Tron.” Hedlund,  made his debut in 2004′s “Troy.” He was one of the football players in the feature film “Friday Night Lights,” one of the foursome in the ensemble thriller “Four Brothers,” a supporting player in the fantasy film “Eragon,” and he appeared opposite Lindsay Lohan in “Georgia Rule.” See More

Tron Legacy – Comic-Con Trailer

Walt Disney surprised the Comic Con audience by revealing a very cool teaser trailer for ‘Tron Legacy’. The biggest surprise is that Jeff Bridges reprises his role as Kevin Flynn. The footage shows a cool CG light cycle race between two riders with Flynn overlooking the high-speed competition. When one of the riders crashes and removes his helmet it is revealed that he is none other than Clu, Flynn’s computer generated counterpart also played by Bridges. See More
