New Regency and 20th Century Fox have released the first teaser trailer for The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, and Will Poulter.

Directed and co-written by Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel), 'The Revenant' is inspired by the legendary explorer Hugh Glass.

In the 1820s uncharted American wilderness, fur trapper Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) sets out on a path of vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling.
