George Clooney, Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson star in Disney’s top secret sci-fi adventure Tomorrowland. With principal photography underway, director Brad Bird has tweeted a photo of himself in front of the Carousel of Progress poster showcasing Disney’s 1964-65 World’s Fair. Could this be another clue to the plot of Tomorrowland? Damon Lindelof (Star Trek, Lost, Prometheus) and Bird (The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) are producing the movie which is based on the popular Disney theme park attraction.
The Walt Disney Studios has announced that its live-action release previously known as 1952 will be titled TOMORROWLAND. The film will be released domestically on December 19, 2014. George Clooney is set to star. TOMORROWLAND is written by Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird from a concept by Lindelof and Jeff Jensen.
