Transformers: Age of Extinction DVD & Blu-ray Details Revealed

Transformers: Age of Extinction Will Roll Out on Blu-ray and DVD in September.

Paramount Home Media Distribution has announced and revealed the release date, details and cover art for director Michael Bay's sci-fi action sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction, starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer.

The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD releases will arrive September 30 and two weeks early on Digital HD September 16. Check out the Blu-ray cover art and special features below.

Synopsis:
The fearsome battles at the end of "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" have left the planet in ruins, and mankind is trying to rebuild as Autobots and Decepticons fade from the scene. Trying to learn from their mistakes, surviving scientists and entrepreneurs begin designing a new generation of Transformers that will employ more advanced technology. But as this happens, a mean-spirited Transformer from another world arrives on Earth to take over the planet, and the stage is set for another epic-scale battle between the forces of good and evil.

    • The People's Republic – China plays an extremely prominent role in the film both on-screen and behind-the-scenes; in fact, four Chinese actors were chosen from thousands of applicants on a reality TV show to appear in the movie. In addition, the production traveled to Hong Kong, the beautiful valley of Wulong Karst National Park in Chongqing and the Great Wall in Beijing to capture breathtaking footage.
