Arrow and Flash to Spinoff Superhero Team-Up Series

CW is currently developing a superhero team-up series featuring DC Comics characters from both Arrow and its highly-successful spinoff series The Flash.

According to Deadline, the new series will star Arrow's Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer / The Atom) and Caity Lotz (Sara Lance / Black Canary) along with The Flash's Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein / Firestorm) and Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart / Captain Cold) with a possibility for other Arrow/Flash characters joining the list.

The untitled series will also introduce three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series.

The network has teamed with 'Arrow' creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim for a premiere eyed for next midseason.
