New Line Cinema's long-delayed Vacation sequel-slash-reboot seems to be ready to hit the road.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor: The Dark World) and Charlie Day (Horrible Bosses 2) are in talks to join Ed Helms and Christina Applegate in New Line's update of writer John Hughes' classic road trip comedy.

Hemsworth will play Rusty's brother-in-law and Day will cameo as a river-rafting guide. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold.

The new movie follows the now adult Rusty Griswold (Helms) and his wife (Applegate) as they take their family on a road trip similar to the one Rusty took when he was young. Source: THR
