Plot
Wolverine joins the "merc with a mouth" in the third installment of the Deadpool film franchise and their first Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance. "Deadpool 3" follows the wisecracking mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) as he teams up with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and a group of other mutants to take down a powerful new villain. Specifics about the plot are still under wraps, but the film is directed by Shawn Levy ("Free Guy," "Night at the Museum" movies) and written by returning scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, along with Zeb Wells. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin have also contributed to the script in a prior draft. Reynolds, Levy, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will serve as producers. Expect plenty of action, humor, and fourth-wall-breaking from the irreverent antihero.
