The sci-fi classic is coming back to the big screen in an exclusive one day only event on October 3 presented by NCM Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies and Universal Pictures. E.T. will arrive on Blu-ray October 9 for the first time with an all-new, digitally remastered 30th Anniversary Edition Combo Pack with DVD, Digital Copy and Ultraviolet. When an imaginative boy meets a lost alien, it is the beginning of one of cinema's most endearing friendships, as Elliot (Thomas) helps the marvelous creature he calls E.T. find his way back home before government agents can capture him.
An extra-terrestrial is accidentally left behind on Earth and is befriended by a young boy and his brother and sister. As Elliot attempts to help his extra-terrestrial companion contact his home planet so that he might be rescued, the children must elude scientists and government agents determined to apprehend the alien for their own purposes…which results in an adventure greater than any of them could have imagined.
