Kurt Russell Back in the Driver's Seat for 'Fast & Furious 7'

Kurt Russell played crazed driver Stuntman Mike in Quentin Tarantino's 2007's Grindhouse: Death Proof and is now in negotiations for an as-yet-unknown role in the street racing/heist sequel Fast & Furious 7, reports Variety.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham and UFC star Ronda Rousey star in the 7th installment in the popular Fast & Furious franchise.
Martial arts star Tony Jaa ('Ong Bak' franchise) is also reportedly in talks to join the cast.
No plot details have been unveiled yet, except that the film will return to Los Angeles after the previous five films were set in other locations. Universal Pictures has slated Fast & Furious 7 for a July 11, 2014 release.
