New Movie Poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the new poster for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first of three films based on the beloved novel by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage and Cate Blanchett star in the upcoming fantasy adventure. The Hobbit trilogy follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will arrive in 3D, IMAX and 2D theaters on December 14, 2012. You can click on the movie poster below for a larger version.
