Carrie-Anne Moss also returns as Trinity, and together they face off against the cyber-intelligence machine army once again.
But this time, they have some new allies, including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Resistance leader Morpheus, and Jessica Henwick as Bugs, another member of the Resistance. Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris also appear in the trailer, their roles still a mystery.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the film’s plot, as Morpheus and Bugs reveal a shocking truth to Neo and Trinity – they’ve been resurrected and reloaded into The Matrix. As they fight back against the forces of repression and exploitation, Neo must relearn and unleash his arsenal of extraordinary skills.
