Sony releasing movies in 3D on Blu-ray

Sony Pictures said Thursday it will release 3D movies on Blu-ray Disc worldwide for the first time, beginning in the summer with the animated release ‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.’
The launch is aimed to coincide with the summer arrival of Sony Electronics’ 3D compatible Bravia LCD televisions and 3D compatible Blu-ray disc players. See More

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures’ to showcase key titles – ‘Toy Story 3′, ‘Tron’, ‘Disney’s a Christmas Carol’, ‘The Princess and the Frog’, and Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
Animation greats Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter and directors Robert Zemeckis and Tim Burton will take part in their first ever Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center July 23-24. The filmmakers will be on hand to help Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures showcase a wide-ranging roster of upcoming films. See More
