Paramount Sets World War Z Release Date. The studio announced that it will be releasing its geo-political zombie thriller, ‘World War Z’, on December 21, 2012. The big-screen adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos (AMC’s The Killing), James Badge Dale (AMC’s Rubicon) and Bryan Cranston (AMC’s Breaking Bad). ‘World War Z’ is a sober telling of the aftermath of a war fought against a legion of humans who were inflicted with a virus, died and were re-animated into flesh-eating zombies. Drive Angry DVD Details. Summit Entertainment has revealed details for the DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D release of Drive Angry, starring Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner and Amber Heard.
