Fox Unveils DreamWorks Animation’s Release Slate

New DreamWorks Animation distributor 20th Century Fox has unveiled the studio’s feature film release slate for 2013 to 2016, which includes twelve CG animated films in four years. The major industry first includes: the sequels How to Train Your Dragon 2 & 3, and Kung Fu Panda 3, the Madagascar spin-off The Penguins of Madagascar, the big-screen adaptation of the classic cartoon Mr. Peabody & Sherman and the pre-historic adventure The Croods. DreamWorks Adds the Voice of Kit Harington. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is in talks to join the cast of DreamWorks Animation’s 3D sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2, featuring the voice talents of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, America Ferrera and Craig Ferguson. Harington will provide the voice of the film’s still-unnamed villain. The sequel follows the continuing story of Hiccup and his courageous Viking tribe as well as Toothless and the other beloved dragon characters on the Island of Berk. See More
