Jason Voorhees draws first blood in the trailer for the slasher remake starring Julianna Guill, America Olivo, Jared Padalecki, Amanda Righetti, Danielle Panabaker and Willa Ford.

I was never really on board with the idea of remaking the 1980 horror classic "Friday the 13th." After all the young Jason Voorhees didn't don his famous hockey mask and only made a brief appearance in the final frames of the original film.

As you may have already guessed, the remake has solved that problem by simply updating the original story. Not only does Jason wear his mask but he is ready to slash Camp Crystal Lake visitors on day one. Talk about progress.
