It's Official Michelle MacLaren to Direct Wonder Woman

Update: The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Michelle MacLaren has signed on to develop and direct Wonder Woman. Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are among those producing the movie.

Long-time television producer and director Michelle MacLaren is in negotiations to make her feature film directorial debut with Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman movie, reports to Variety.

News broke last month that Warner Bros. was looking for a female director. MacLaren has directed episodes of AMC's 'Breaking Bad', 'The Walking Dead' and HBO's 'Game of Thrones'.

Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6) will star in the superhero action adventure after the Amazon Princess debuts in director Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The character 'Wonder Woman' was created by psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston and first appeared in 'All Star Comics' #8 in December 1941.
