Independence Day 2 Poster and Synopsis Arrives

20th Century Fox has revealed the first teaser poster and synopsis for director Roland Emmerich's Independence Day 2 at this year's Licensing Expo.

The long-awaited alien invasion sequel stars Jessie Usher, Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Travis Tope, Joey King, Brent Spiner, Maika Monroe and William Fichtner. They join returning actors Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch and Bill Pullman.

Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet.
