Jaime King and Jamie Chung have joined the cast of Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, director Robert Rodriguez’ highly anticipated follow-up to his 2005’s neo-noir crime thriller Sin City.
Jaime King, will reprise her role as Wendy, the twin sister of the golden-haired prostitute Goldie.
Jamie Chung will replace actress Devon Aoki as the katana-wielding, roller-skating assassin Miho. King and Chung join Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson on the sequel, which began shooting Monday, reports THR.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is based on the second story in Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novel series and on two new Miller-penned stories that haven’t as yet been published.
In the dark bowels of Sin City, Dwight plans to have his vengeance against the woman who betrayed him, Ava Lord, while Nancy is trying to cope with Hartigan’s death.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is slated to arrive in theaters on October 2, 2013.
