The Wolverine: 8 New Photos and 2 New Posters

Eight new photos, a new domestic movie poster and international poster have arrived online for James Mangold's The Wolverine, the follow-up to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman returns as the adamantium clawed mutant Logan aka Wolverine in the highly anticipated comic book adaptation with new additions Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Brian Tee, Hiroyuki Sanada and Hal Yamanouchi.

The new images feature the villainess Viper (Svetlana Khodchenkova), Mariko (Tao Okamoto) a target of the Yakuza, and Logan's lethal ally Yukio (Rila Fukushima).

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
