Plot
"Twisters," a sequel to the hit 1996 action thriller "Twister," is in the works at Universal and Amblin Entertainment. The plot of "Twisters" is still under wraps, but Daisy Edgar-Jones ("Where the Crawdads Sing") has already signed on with Glen Powell ("Top Gun: Maverick") in negotiations.
The original starred Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton as storm chasers storm-chasers as they hunt down the most powerful tornado in decades. Warner Bros. Pictures is co-financing "Twisters," with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley ("Jurassic World Dominion") producing via the Kennedy/Marshall Company.
