Watch a video clip from Zack Synder's surprise Man of Steel 2 announcement at Comic-Con San Diego.

Warner Bros "World's Finest" movie will bring together two of the greatest superheroes of all time, Batman and Superman, for the first time on the big screen. Along with its star, Henry Cavill, the upcoming film brings back Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

In the video Harrry Lennix who plays General Swanwick in Man of Steel quotes from Frank Miller's seminal graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns.

Snyder is co-writing the story with David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman Begins), who will then pen the screenplay. Production is expected to begin in 2014, with an anticipated release date in Summer 2015. Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Trilogy) and Emma Thomas are serving as executive producers.
