Victoria’s Secret model Brooklyn Decker and ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ star Hamish Linklater board ‘Battleship’. Plot Details

Taylor Kitsch (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will star in “Battleship,” Universal’s adaptation of the Hasbro board game. Kitsch is Naval commander Alex Hopper, a “wildly spirited” and “a great seaman but a lousy politician.” Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) will play his brother.

Peter Berg (Hancock, The Kingdom) will produce and direct “Battleship”, which will unfold as a massive Naval adventure across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a water-bound armada of otherworldly origin. Scott Stuber (The Wolfman, Couples Retreat) is producing Battleship through his Universal-based Stuber Pictures, and Sarah Aubrey (The Kingdom, upcoming Dune) is producing with Berg for Film 44. Brian Goldner and Bennet Schneir are producing for Hasbro.
