Maze Runner Star Boards Pirates of the Caribbean 5
Disney has cast The Maze Runner's Kaya Scodelario as the female lead in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Johnny Depp will return as Captain Jack Sparrow, with Javier Bardem playing the villain Captain Brand and Brenton Thwaites is also set to co-star.
Norwegian film directing team Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki, Bandidas) will helm the action adventure.
The fifth installment follows the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow as the eccentric pirate crosses paths with Captain Brand, a ghost who seeks revenge for his brother's death, which he blames on Jack Sparrow.
