Mark Romanek to Direct The Lost Symbol. Director Mark Romanek (Never Let Me Go) is the front-runner to direct the third film adaptation of author Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon novels. Ron Howard, who directed the first two installments, ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and ‘Angels & Demons’, will produce ‘The Lost Symbol’ with his Imagine Entertainment partner Brian Grazer.
