Gina Carano Set for Fast and Furious 6

Haywire star Gina Carano is in final talks to join Fast & Furious 6, the next installment of Universal Pictures' blockbuster car-racing/heist franchise. The former MMA fighter-turned actor will help Dwayne Johnson's character hunt down Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.

Justin Lin returns to direct the sixth installment with a script by Chris Morgan, who wrote the past three Fast & Furious films.

Dominic (Diesel), Brian (Walker) and the crew find themselves on the wrong side of the law once again as they try to pull off a high-octane heist on the streets of Europe. Fast & Furious 6 is slated for release May 24, 2013. Source: THR
