Lana Lang Confirmed for 'Man of Steel', New Superman Photo

Jadin Gould has been cast as a young Lana Lang in Warner Bros. upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel. Gould (Battle Los Angeles) will play the character as a 13-year-old teenager in Smallville, Superman Super Site confirmed.

Lana Lang is a popular character from Superman mythology who is Clark Kent's teenage romantic interest. Annette O'Toole portrayed Lana Lang as an adult in Superman III and starred in The CW's long-running TV series Smallville with Kristin Kreuk, who also portrayed the character from her teen years through adulthood.

Also in Superman news, a new photo has surfaced of actor Henry Cavill in his Superman costume, taken on the Union Station set (Metropolis Central Station) in Chicago, IL. You can see the photo here at the Facebook fan page "Superman: Man of Steel 2013".

Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon star in the upcoming film from director Zack Snyder. Currently in production, Man of Steel is slated for release on June 14, 2013.
